What is P-Shots?
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is derived from patient’s own blood plasma. The idea is that the PRP contains growth factors that can stimulate tissue repair and improve blood flow, potentially enhancing erectile function.
Firstly a small amount of blood is drawn from your arm. The blood is processed in a centrifuge to separate the PRP from other blood components.
The PRP is injected into specific areas of the body to promote healing process and tissue regeneration intended to help treat the injured muscles, joints , tendons, ligaments or even penile tissue and vaginal tissue.
The PRP injection into the penis is called P-Shot, or Priapus Shots.
What does the P-Shot do?

P-Shot helps treat penile-related conditions by promoting increase blood flow to your penis and repairs body tissues and cells, which can help with the Erectile dysfunction (ED). ED is when you can’t get or keep an erection that’s hard enough for sexual intercourse.
Some men report improvements in erectile function, increased sensitivity, and better overall sexual performance after receiving P-Shots. However, the effectiveness can vary, and the treatment might not work for everyone. It’s also important to have realistic expectations and understand that multiple sessions may be needed for optimal results.
Does the P-Shot increase penis size?

Some claim that the P-Shot can increase penis length and girth by design. They may inject more platelet-rich plasma into the base penis, shaft or head (glans) of your penis according to where you would like to see results.
How is the P-Shot Effective for Treating Peyronie’s Disease?
Peyronie’s disease involves the development of fibrous scar tissue, known as plaque. This can cause a curvature of the penis, making intercourse and erections difficult and painful. The P-Shot can potentially introduce growth factors to the area, breaking down the scar tissue and leading to the development of healthier tissue that reduces symptoms.
Does P-Shot Treatment Hurt?
No, most men report that P-Shot treatment does not hurt since a numbing agent is applied to the penis before the injection.
What are do’s and don’t’s after P-Shot Injection?
It is advisable for you to take rest following p shot injections – no sexual activities and vigorous exercises for at least 3-5 days. While there is minimal downtime following your P-Shot treatment, it is recommended you use a Vacuum Erection Device (VED), also known as a penis pump. You’ll need to use the VED twice per day for a few minutes and continue for 2 weeks. Using the VED increases the amount of blood flow to the penis and helps increase the outcomes of your P-shot injection.

What are the Potential Side Effects and Risks From the P-Shot?
While side effects can vary from person to person, they tend to be minimal (since PRP is taken from your own blood). Side effects, while rare, can include bruising, swelling at the injection site, and bleeding.
As with any medical treatment, it’s crucial to consult with a qualified healthcare provider to determine if P-Shots are a suitable option for you. They can provide a detailed explanation of the potential benefits, risks, and alternatives.
