Human Growth Hormone, or HGH, plays an important role in how the body repairs, recovers and maintains itself. As we age, levels naturally decline, and for some people this can affect energy, body composition and wellbeing. At Vivardi Clinics in Rawang, Selangor, HGH therapy is offered as a doctor-led, carefully assessed option for suitable patients.
What is HGH and what does it do?
HGH is a hormone produced by the pituitary gland. It supports growth in younger years and, in adults, helps with tissue repair, metabolism, muscle maintenance and recovery. Levels peak in youth and gradually fall with age. In adults with a genuine deficiency, this decline can contribute to low energy, reduced muscle tone, increased body fat and slower recovery.
Who might consider HGH therapy?
HGH therapy is intended for adults with a confirmed deficiency, identified through proper medical assessment, not simply for general anti-ageing. This is an important distinction. Because hormones are powerful, treatment should only follow a thorough evaluation by a doctor, who will determine whether it is appropriate and safe for you.
Why medical supervision is essential
HGH is not something to use casually or without oversight. The right candidates, correct dosing and ongoing monitoring all matter for safety and results. A responsible clinic assesses your health first, explains the benefits and risks honestly, and reviews you throughout treatment. You can read more on our HGH therapy page.
Part of a wider wellness picture
Hormones rarely act alone. Energy, body composition and wellbeing are also shaped by sleep, nutrition, activity and other hormones such as testosterone. Our doctors look at the whole picture, which often sits within a broader men’s health plan, so treatment is part of a sensible overall approach.
What to expect at Vivardi
Your consultation begins with a detailed review of your health and goals, along with any tests needed to assess your hormone levels. If therapy is suitable, the doctor explains the plan and monitors your progress. Everything is private and handled under Malaysia’s PDPA.
