What Is the Fire & Ice Facial?

The Fire & Ice Facial is a two-step treatment. The first resurfacing mask gently exfoliates and warms the skin to refine texture, while the second mask cools, soothes and deeply hydrates. Together they brighten and smooth the skin with a noticeable glow. It is popular before events because it gives a polished result with little to no downtime.

FAQ

Fire & Ice Facial FAQ

Is there any downtime?
Usually little to none. Some warmth or mild redness can occur briefly and settles quickly.
Is it suitable before an event?
Yes. It is a popular choice before events because it gives an immediate, polished glow.
How often can I have it?
It can be repeated regularly. Your clinician will suggest a schedule based on your skin.
Does it suit sensitive skin?
Often yes, but sensitive skin should be assessed first so the treatment can be adjusted if needed.
Will I peel afterwards?
Most people do not peel noticeably. Any light flaking is usually minimal and short-lived.
Is my visit private?
Yes. Your consultation and personal information stay confidential in line with Malaysia's PDPA.
Is the warm, tingling feeling normal?
Yes. A mild warmth or tingle during the resurfacing Fire step is expected and eases when the cooling mask is applied. Tell your clinician if it ever feels too strong.
Can I wear makeup afterwards?
You can, but many people enjoy the natural glow and prefer to wait a few hours. If you do apply makeup, use clean, gentle products.
How often should I have the facial?
For a maintained glow, around once a month works well for most people. Your clinician can suggest a schedule based on your skin and goals.

Who the Fire & Ice Facial Suits

The Fire & Ice Facial is ideal for skin that looks dull, tired or a little congested and needs a quick lift in radiance, which is why it is so popular before weddings, photos and events. It suits most skin types, including many people with sensitive skin, because the strength can be adjusted during the treatment. It is not the right choice when skin is broken, sunburnt or has active, inflamed acne, so the clinician checks your skin first and may recommend a calmer option or a different time if needed.

Your facial

Step by Step, and Afterwards

The facial begins with a thorough cleanse. The first resurfacing mask, the warming Fire step, is applied to gently exfoliate and refine the skin, and a mild tingling or warmth at this stage is completely normal. It is then removed and the cooling Ice mask is applied to soothe, calm and deeply hydrate, leaving the skin fresh and comfortable. A serum and sun protection finish the treatment, which takes around 45 minutes in total. There is little to no downtime, so most people return straight to their day. For the first 24 hours it is best to avoid strong active ingredients such as retinol or acids, hot showers and direct sun, and to keep up daily SPF. Having the facial regularly, for example monthly, helps maintain a smooth, glowing result.
